Transforming children's imaginations into stories that inspire, while providing much needed supplemental income to help cover their cost of care. 51% of our profits go directly to our authors and their families.

Caring for a child with a life-threatening illness goes well beyond medical costs. Parents are there every step of the way, taking time off work and making any sacrifice needed. This inevitably takes a financial toll, which we believe these families don't have to face alone.

 

How we do it

Children stricken with a life-threatening illness tell us a story, then we at Make Believe Book Company go to work. We edit, illustrate, design, print, publish, and sell their book, sharing their story with the world.
